* Gramlich was employed by DMV for nine years as a lead customer service representative in Moundsville. Within that time frame, Robert Metheny became the new Chief of Police for the City of Wheeling. Metheny had been friends many years with William Renzelli, a high- ranking member of the DMV staff. Renzelli instructed Gramlich to issue a motorcycle endorsement on Metheny's license. She relied on Renzelli's representations when she issued the "illegal" endorsement. As a result she was terminated about January 2010. She suffered various general and economic damages although DMV was ordered to reinstate her.

* Plaintiffs purchased a new 2007 Volkswagen from a dealer in Columbus, Ohio, on Sept. 8, 2006. The vehicle was covered under factory warranty for a period of four years and 50,000 miles. The Mueller's paid $32,920 for this vehicle that was taken to the Wheeling dealership for electrical problems 21 times from October 2006 through December 2010. Volkswagen has refused to honor its warranty on the EOS and plaintiffs are entitled to recover their fees, expenses, and costs in the commencement of this action.
