Woman sues AJ&A Enterprises for injuries

CHARLESTON -- A woman is suing AJ&A Enterprises after she claims she slipped and fell on ice.

On Feb. 4, 2009, Brittany Dawn Vance was at the defendant's place of business in Charleston for the purpose of a tanning session, according to a complaint filed Feb. 1 in Kanawha Circuit Court.

Vance claims she was attempting to enter the building when she slipped and fell due to the defendant's failure to remove ice from the parking lot.

As a result of the defendant's negligence, Vance suffered a fractured ankle, according to the suit.

Vance is seeking compensatory damages with pre- and post-judgment interest. She is being represented by Donald C. Wandling, Douglas Witten and David Wandling.

The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Charles King.
