Daniel Adkins vs. WVU Hospitals

* In November 2005, Adkins underwent surgery for injuries sustained as a result of a car accident. For the next 3.5 years, Adkins suffered recurrent bladder and urinary tract infections. After ungoing a cystoscopy, it was determined a coiled and knotted silicone tubing was found in his bladder, left there during his original surgery. Adkins claims the surgeons failed to remove the tubing after his surgery was completed. He is seeking judgment for past and future medical expenses, pain and suffering, emotional distress, punitive damages, attorney costs and fees.
