* On June 23, 2009, Barker was in the process of obtaining a vehicle identification number from a Chrysler SUV for a customer he was working with. During this time, Workman "jumped in a motor vehicle and deliberately, intentionally and with great force and violence, drove the vehicle into plaintiff, causing him to be severely maimed and injured," according to the suit. Barker is seeking compensatory and punitive damages.

* On July 23, 2009, Thacker was legally operating a tractor trailer in the course of his employment with Wise Trucking. He claims he was traveling in the vehicle when he heard a loud pop as he was going around a curve and the vehicle began to travel uncontrollably down the mountain. As a result, the vehicle hit a high wall head on, causing injuries to Thacker, according to the suit. Thacker is seeking compensatory damages with pre-judgment interest.

* Halsey was at Chasers Sports Bar when he fell through the hole in the second floor and suffered severe debilitating injuries. Halsey claims the hole previous had railing around it to prevent patrons from falling through, but that Little negligently removed the railing. * On Sept. 27, 2007, Mr. Edwards was taken to Logan General Hospital for a work-related injury. At that time, a large mass was discovered in the area of his left adrenal gland and kidney. Mr. Edwards was referred to Jensen for further evaluation. The following day, Jensen ordered laboratory work and decided to remove the tumor, according to the suit. Jensen canceled the surgery on Oct. 21 to allow more time for pre-surgery work-up and rescheduled. On Dec. 3, Cabell Huntington Hospital personnel confirmed the tumor was cancerous. Mr. Edwards died Dec. 12. Mrs. Edwards is seeking compensatory and punitive damages.

* On May 1, 2009, the plaintiff was working at the Schlotzsky's in Charleston and was working side-by-side with Romeo. The defendant became frustrated with Turley at one point, grabbed hot foil and slammed it down on his hand, according to the suit. Turley claims Romeo caused him to sustain significant burns. Turley is seeking compensatory and punitive damages with pre- and post-judgment interest.
