Thyssenkrupp Elevator says Tri-State Hotels owes $80,000

HUNTINGTON – Thyssenkrupp Elevator Corp. is suing Tri-State Hotels after it claims the company failed to pay more than $80,000 for services.

On Oct. 19, 2008, Tri-State Hotels contracted with Thyssenkrupp Elevator Corp. and agreed to pay $139,592 for the company's services, according to a complaint filed March 22 in Cabell Circuit Court.

Thyssenkrupp Elevator Corp. claims it fulfilled its part of the agreement and the defendant has breached the terms of the agreement by failing to pay for the services.

The defendant remains indebted to Thyssenkrupp Elevator Corp. in the amount of $81,929.

Thyssenkrup Elevator Corp. is seeking judgment in the amount of $81,929 with pre- and post-judgment interest. The company is being represented by Daniel T. Booth.

The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge F. Jane Hustead.
