Couple upset that people are scaring their kids

CHARLESTON -- A couple is suing a Kanawha County resident and 10 unknown individuals after they claim they have been scaring their children.

Shelley and William Lively are the parents of Trystan and Galina Lively, according to a complaint filed April 14 in Kanawha Circuit Court.

The Livelys claim Robert Fields Sr. and 10 unknown individuals have scared their children during recent months by displaying suspicious travel patterns.

The children have been routinely met by certain vehicles soon upon reaching the public road, according to the suit.

Vehicles have been slowing to a crawl when nearing the children, the Livelys claim.

The vehicles have blocked the children from easily recognizing the occupants of the vehicles due to tinted windows, according to the suit.

The Livelys claim the defendants have been following their children and they have observed the defendants' vehicles drive past the children, then immediately turn around and drive past them again.

Trystan and Galina Lively have recognized the vehicles to have been driven by Fields and/or have been known to frequent the Fields' residence, according to the suit.

The Livelys claim their children have been scared, harassed, stalked and/or tormented by the defendants' actions.

The Livelys are seeking compensatory and punitive damages. They are being represented by David R. Karr.

The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Paul Zakaib Jr.
