* On Aug. 22, 2009, Tammy Simpson requested a refill of a prescription of Risperdal 3mp for John Dakota Simpson. She claims when she questioned the pharmacy about the fact that the pill had a different appearance that the Risperdal that her son had been taking, she was assured that it was the correct medication and was a generic. After six days, Tammy Simpson claims her son became extremely ill and was admitted to the pediatric intensive care unit, where it was determined that the medication he had been taking was not Risperdal. The plaintiffs are seeking compensatory and punitive damages.
