* On Aug. 31, 2008, First Horizon sold to MetLife Bank NA its 250 mortgage offices. In Feburary 2009, the plaintiffs refinanced a First Horizon loan with MetLife defendants. It closed April 2009. They say the defendants failed to properly credit or "pay off" the original loan and caused them to reported to third parties for being 120 days past due on the loan. It caused credit problems. They seek compensatory and punitive damages for economic and non-economic losses, court costs, attorney fees, interest and other damages.
