HUNTINGTON -- The Lexington Herald-Leader Co. is suing H. William Mattingly Corp. in Huntington after it claims it owes more than $20,000.
H. William Mattingly Corp. is doing business as Beltone Hearing Aid Center.
Beltone Hearing Aid Center owes the sum of $21,041.36 on a past-due account, according to a complaint filed May 20 in Cabell Circuit Court.
Lexington Herald-Leader Co. claims Beltone advertised in its publication, but failed to pay for the services.
The defendant's account has been past due since June 2009, according to the suit.
The newspaper is seeking for the amount with interest. It is being represented by James B. Atkins, Paul S. Atkins and Bree Whipp Ogle.
The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge David M. Pancake.
