Angela and Robert Potter vs. Tina Walden

* The Potters, tenants of property owned by Walden, claim that while walking down the outside steps of the premises, Angela Potter's foot became wedged between the building and the steps. Potter fell, suffering severe physical injuries. Potter claims the steps and railing were not maintained properly and violated building code laws. She is seeking compensatory damages for past, present and future medical expenses, lost wages, general damages, pre- and post-judgment interest, costs and attorney fees.

Katherine and Jeffrey Savage vs. Robert L. Mills Jr. and Jendoco Construction

* Katherine Savage was walking across a crosswalk intersection where Jendoco Construction was working as a contractor for West Virginia University. Jendoco's flagman signaled for Savage to proceed through the crosswalk where she was struck by a vehicle driven by Mills. Savage alleges the flagman did not have a clear view of the crosswalk and Mills proceeded through the crosswalk intersection without looking to see if any pedestrians were in the crosswalk. Savage was thrown into the air and landed forcefully on the ground sustaining serious injuries. The Savages seek judgment for injuries, medical expenses, punitive damages, pre- and post-judgment interest, costs and attorney fees.
