* In April or May 2010, Enviroprobe contacted the plaintiffs seeking permission to take soil and group water samples from the northeastern corner of their property in order to check for contaminants caused by a leakage from the Department of Transportation's underground storage tanks. They claim Enviroprobe indicated they had found contaminants on the property and requested to drill one well in order to monitor the contamination. They claim the defendant drilled three wells instead of one and the property continued to be contaminated by the Department of Transportation's underground tanks. They are seeking compensatory and punitive damages with pre- and post-judgment interest.
