Douglas Oliver v. Triad Engineering, Karen Krabill, John Kent and Lydia Work
PA-Ed Kohout; J-NA
* Oliver was employed as a Staff Project Engineer with Triad Engineering. Karen Krabill was Oliver's immediate supervisor. At one time, Krabill's husband was Chief Operating Officer of Triad but was asked to resign. Oliver alleges Krabill began harassing him with false and negative employment evaluations, creating a hostile work environment so as to discredit him and get him fired. Oliver believed this was due to the conflicts with Krabill's husband while he was employed with Triad. Oliver reported his problems with Krabill to John Kent and Lydia Work, but claims nothing was done. He was terminated on July 11, 2011. At that time he was given a severance letter in which he was to forego his salary and benefits in exchange for six weeks pay. Oliver refused to sign the letter. He is seeking compensatory and punitive damages, attorney fees and costs.
