CHARLESTON -- An Elkview man is suing Plaza Management after he slipped and fell on snow and ice.
On Jan. 14, 2011, while lawfully on the defendant's premises and while exercising ordinary care for his safety, Michael G. Ryan was injured when he slipped and fell on snow and ice in the parking lot, according to a complaint filed Jan. 11 in Kanawha Circuit Court.
Ryan claims he was exiting his vehicle, which was parked in the defendant's parking lot, when he slipped and fell.
As a result of slipping and falling on the snow and ice, Ryan sustained serious personal injuries, according to the suit.
Ryan is seeking compensatory damages with pre- and post-judgment interest. He is being represented by Rhonda L. Harsh.
The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Louis H. Bloom.
