Woman blames Lone Star Steakhouse for injuries

CHARLESTON -- A woman is suing Lone Star Steakhouse for injuries she sustained from slipping on ice and/or snow.

On Feb. 26, 2010, Sarah L. Frail had dinner at Lone Star Steakhouse and was leaving the restaurant when she slipped and fell on ice and/or snow on the porch and fell to the ground, according to a complaint filed Jan. 13 in Kanawha Circuit Court.

Frail claims she was exercising all due cation when she slipped on the ice and/or snow on the porch and fell.

As a result of her injuries, Frail incurred medical expenses and is no longer able to perform the duties of her job, according to the suit.

Frail is seeking compensatory damages. She is being represented by Michael W. Carey and David R. Pogue.

The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Tod J. Kaufman.
