Woman sues trucking company for accident

WAYNE -- A woman is suing B.J.A. Trucking after she was injured in a car accident.

Jason Robertson, an employee for B.J.A. Trucking, was also named as a defendant in the suit.

On Jan. 6, 2010, Lisa Dillon was a passenger being driven on U.S. Route 52 in Wayne County, according to a complaint filed Jan. 5 in Wayne Circuit Court.

Dillon claims the driver of the vehicle slowed and signaled for a left turn, but Robertson was not paying attention and rear-ended the vehicle she was in.

The crash caused injuries to Dillon, including physical pain and suffering; mental pain and suffering; loss of enjoyment of life; lost wages and earning capacity; permanent physical impairment and increased risk of arthritis and other diseases and ailments; and medical costs, according to the suit.

Dillon is seeking compensatory damages with pre- and post-judgment interest. She is being represented by Scott G. Stapleton.
