Jerry Riley vs. Ultimate Health Services, Inc. d/b/a Huntington Internal Medicine Group and Dr. William Beam

* Riley became a patient of the defendants in 2008 and was diagnosed with severe COPD and in 2009 Beam determined in early 2009 that Riley was completely disabled from her job at BB&T. In approximately April 2009 Riley filed for short term disability, but was denied because the defendants failed and/or refused to send her medical records to The Hartford. Riley is seeking compensatory damages with pre- and post-judgment interest.

* On Sept. 30, 2010, Williams was on the defendants' property when she slipped and fell. Williams is seeking compensatory damages with pre-judgment interest.

Kaitlin Grace Marcum vs. Dave Flowers, Inc. and John David Flowers

* On Feb. 20, 2010, Marcum was allowed on the Venom Club's premises even though she was not over the age of 21. She claims while in the club someone was permitted to enter the premises with a firearm in his possession and fragments of the bullet struck her in her mid-right thigh. Marcum is seeking compensatory damages.

Brian Gilkerson vs. Greif, Inc.
PA- David M. Adkins; J- David M. Pancake
* On Feb. 23, 2010, Gilkerson was working for the defendant as a shipping bander when he slipped and fell and got his leg lodged between a conveyor belt and a photo stand during the course of his employment. The following day he informed the defendant of his injuries and filled out an accident report. Gilkerson claims instead of addressing the injury the defendant presented him with a termination letter. Gilkerson is seeking compensatory and punitive damages with pre- and post-judgment interest.
