On Oct. 9, 2010, while operating a tow truck owned by Uncle Tony's Lube, Bowes negligently backed the truck into a street light and pole in the parking lot of Adams Landing Apartments and caused property damages to the street light at pole. The MacDonald Companies claims Bowes was operating the vehicle without a valid driver's license. The MacDonald Companies is seeking judgment in the amount of $2,766.26 with interest.

* In 1995, Robinson purchased her home and in 2003 she saw Quicken advertisements offering loans with low, affordable payments and contacted the defendant. The defendant represented to Robinson that it could save her money and her payment would be approximately $330 per month, which was lower than her current monthly payment. Robinson claims the defendants misrepresented the actual value of her home and that the loan had an adjustable rate of interest that could rise to 18 percent. Robinson is seeking compensatory and punitive damages.
