* On April 7, 2010, Christopher Grizzell operated a 1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, Christopher Rodgers was operating a 2004 Chevrolet Malibu and Wayne Richard Lawrence Jr. was operating a 2009 Freightliner Columbia truck tractor. Ginger Elaine Lawrence and Kelsie Emily Lawrence were passengers in the freightliner. When Grizzell attempted to switch lanes, Christopher Rodgers' vehicle collided into Grizzell's vehicle and then both vehicles traveled across the westbound lanes, through the median and cable barrier and into the path of the Lawrence vehicle. As a result of the impact, the fuel tank of the Lawrence vehicle was breached and diesel fuel escaped, causing an explosion. Wanda Frances Lawrence is seeking compensatory and punitive damages with interest.

* Dawson treated James Holley and when he complained of stress and leg problems, she prescribed him narcotics and other controlled substances, including Oxcycodon, Oxycodone, Lortab, Darvocet and Oxycodin. In 2007, James Holley presented to Cabell Huntington Hospital complaining of seizures, which were caused by over medication, according to the suit. The Holleys claim after the seizures, Dawson prescribed opiates to James Holley along with his other prescriptions. Dawson "substantially encouraged and assisted plaintiff James Holley's drug impairment and his addiction to controlled medications by prescribing drugs to him..." according to the suit. The Holleys are seeking compensatory and punitive damages with pre- and post-judgment interest.

* On May 11, 2010, Jones purchased a 2010 Harley Davidson FXDF from the defendant in the amount of 17,435.27. Jones claims the motorcycle was defective. Jones is seeking compensatory damages.
