Asset Acquisition Group sues individuals for owing more than $25,000

HUNTINGTON -- Asset Acquisition Group is suing two individuals it claims owe more than $25,000 due to a breach in contract.

On Sept. 5, 2002, Marshall Ferris and Jennifer Ferris executed a Retail Installment Contract and Security Agreement for the purchase of a 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan, according to a complaint filed March 12 in Cabell Circuit Court.

Asset Acquisition Group claims the Ferrises have failed and refused to pay per the terms of the contract.

Following repossession and sale of the vehicle in 2006, the plaintiff is owed the sum of $26,844.14; the principal due under the terms of the contract in the amount of $12,514.31 and interest in the amount of $14,329.83, according to the suit.

The plaintiff is seeking judgment in that amount with pre- and post-judgment interest. It is being represented by Ryan S. Marsteller.

The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge David M. Pancake.
