* Umberger had a contract with Sprint beginning in November 2009 for unlimited minutes, text messages and Internet for $69 per month, but each month he was charged more. Umberger claims he reported the errors to Sprint and the bills were corrected. In February 2010, Umberger warned Sprint if it continued to make errors, the contract would be terminated. In March 2010 the defendant sent another fraudulent bill to Umberger and refused to lower it to the correct amount. When he informed Sprint the contract would be terminated, his phone number was automatically reassigned and his credit was harmed. Umberger is seeking punitive damages in the amount of $5,000, reactivation with the same phone number and for debts on the number to be removed.

Gilkerson is seeking compensatory and punitive damages with pre-judgment interest.
