VanDergrift claims Walters was negligent in driving a vehicle owned by Ceva and crashed his vehicle into the Shields' vehicle and the disabled vehicle on the side of the highway. VanDergrift is seeking compensatory and punitive damages with pre- and post-judgment interest.

* In October 2009, Saddler became an obstetric patient of the defendants. At the time of her pregnancy, Saddler received a West Virginia Medicaid card for all pregnancy-related medical issues. During her pregnancy and beginning at approximately her second office visit, Saddler informed the defendants that she desired to have a tubal ligation at the time of her delivery and she was scheduled for a caesarean delivery and tubal ligation on June 2, 2010, according to the suit. Saddler claims she went into labor on May 23, 2010, and was informed on her way to delivery on May 24, 2010, that the tubal ligation would not be completed because the necessary paperwork had not been submitted to the defendants 30 days prior, as required by West Virginia Medicaid coverage. Saddler is seeking compensatory and punitive damages with pre- and post-judgment interest
