* Jordan was manager for the Parks and Recreation Department for the City of Nitro until she resigned from her position on Jan. 20. Jordan claims she was a victim of workplace harassment by City Council members Dave Casebolt, Jim McKay and Bill Javins and City Treasurer John Young. Due to the harassment, Jordan sought and received medical treatment, according to the suit. Jordan is seeking compensatory and punitive damages with pre-judgment interest.

Terry Means, as next friend of Ilene Lou Kidd vs. Ulysses Grant Young d/b/a Kanawha Terrace Mobile Home Park

* On June 11, 2010, Kidd was walking from her home to her mobile home community's local mail drop to obtain her daily mail. When Kidd stepped into the local mail drop area, she slipped on accumulated gravel and fell. Means claims Kidd was diagnosed with a broken ankle and was placed in a cast, but later, an infection in the area began to spread and Kidd's leg was amputated below the knee. Means is seeking compensatory damages.

* M.H. was a student at Keyser Primary Middle School in 2010. In June 2010, M.H. and other students were at Fitch's residence, who is an employee at Keyser, visiting her daughter. D.H. claims M.H. was sexually assaulted by Fitch while at the house. The incident was reported to the defendants, but Fitch was permitted to continue working at the school. D.H. is seeking compensatory and punitive damages.

* On Sept. 9, 2010, Beverly, who was employed by the Department of Highways, was driving north on Interstate-77 in Charleston when he failed to maintain control of his vehicle by following too close and struck the vehicle being driven by Lockhart and then continued to drive on the road without stopping. Lockhart is seeking compensatory damages.

Delores K. Clark vs. the West Virginia State Board of Education and the Wayne County Board of Education

* Clark was a bus driver for the defendants and has taken medication for depression for many years, but her medication has never effected her operation of a bus. She claims in September 2008 she began to feel very tired and "not quite right," and she reported off work for a number of days. During her days off work, Clark felt very depressed and admitted herself to a hospital for psychological treatment, according to the suit. Clark claims when she was released and attempted to return to work, the defendants suspended her certification to operate a school bus. Clark is seeking compensatory damages.
