[gallery]HUNTINGTON -- Huddleston Bolen recently welcomed five new lawyers to the firm.
Elizabeth Duncan and Alex Greenberg joined the firm’s litigation practice. Duncan is based in Huntington, and Greenberg is based in Charleston. Tyler Haslam and David Kiebler both joined Huddleston Bolen’s products liability practice. Haslam is an associate based in the firm’s Huntington office, and Kiebler, also an associate, is based in the firm’s Louisville, Ky., office. Matthew Ward joined the firm’s Huntington Business Department.

Duncan is a native of Huntington. She attended Duke University where she earned a B.A. in English. After working two years in Government Relations for a law firm in Raleigh, N.C., Duncan returned to law school and graduated from the Wake Forest University School of Law. While in law school, she served as the Secretary of the Veterans Advocacy Law Organization (VALOR) and chaired the committee for the First Annual Veteran’s Day VALOR 5k Run. She also earned a CALI Award for Excellence in Conflict of Laws. Duncan joins Huddleston Bolen after spending two summers in the firm’s summer clerk program. She is an associate practicing in commercial litigation and general civil defense.
Greenberg practices in firm’s litigation department. He participated in summer clerk program for two years before joining Huddleston Bolen. Originally from Martinsburg, he attended West Virginia University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting through the College of Business and Economics. While an undergraduate, Greenberg served as Treasurer for WVU’s Student Government Association. Greenberg obtained his Doctorate of Jurisprudence in 2012 from West Virginia University. While he was in law school, he was a member of the West Virginia Law Review, serving as the Senior Development Editor. During law school, Mr. Greenberg was also a three time recipient of the J. Oakley Seibert Memorial Scholarship.
Tyler Haslam is an experienced attorney whose practice is entirely devoted to civil litigation. He has defended medical device manufacturers in products liability matters, represented insurance companies in both personal injury and bad faith cases, and he has represented other lawyers and law firms in cases of alleged professional negligence. He maintains an active litigation practice in state and federal courts in both Ohio and West Virginia. Haslam obtained his Juris Doctor, with distinction, from the Pettit College of Law at Ohio Northern University in 2010. Haslam graduated cum laude from Emory & Henry College with degrees in Political Science and History in 2007.
Kiebler is an attorney in the firm’s Louisville office, where his practice focuses on products liability and railroad litigation. Before joining Huddleston Bolen, Kiebler was an associate at another Louisville firm, where he represented both a national manufacturer in products liability actions and several regional hospitals in health care matters. Prior to entering private practice, Kiebler served as a judicial law clerk for Justice Will T. Scott of the Supreme Court of Kentucky. In that role, Kiebler performed substantial research and assisted in the drafting of numerous opinions covering a broad variety of subjects. Kiebler also served as a judicial law clerk for a trial court in the Washington, D.C. area. Kiebler is a native of Lexington, Ky., and is a graduate of Transylvania University and Washington and Lee University School of Law.
Mr. Ward is an associate in the firm's Huntington office. His practice is concentrated in tax, estate planning, bankruptcy, and commercial litigation. He comes to the firm with a background in banking and mortgage origination. Before beginning a legal career, Ward was a Branch Manager of a Wells Fargo Financial mortgage origination office in Zanesville, Ohio. Ward received his J.D. in 2012 from the Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. While in law school, Ward was editor of the law review. He received a B.B.A. from Marshall University in 2005, graduating Cum Laude. Ward is active in the community, volunteering for Habitat for Humanity; Penny Power, which aids needy children; and St. Jude Bass Tournaments.
