CHARLESTON – Valley Cash Feed Company, LLC, is suing Shamrock Kennels, Inc., after it claims it owes more than $15,000 for goods and services sold.
Shamrock owns, trains and races greyhounds at a racing facility in Nitro and opened an account with Valley for goods and services between Jan. 1, 2008, and July 30, according to a complaint filed Dec. 11 in Kanawha Circuit Court.
Valley claims Shamrock is indebted in the amount of $16,144.56 for meat and supplies.
Shamrock has failed and refused to pay for the goods and services, despite repeated demands for payment, according to the suit.
Valley is seeking judgment in the amount of $16,144.56 with pre- and post-judgment interest. It is being represented by Harvey D. Peyton.
The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge James C. Stucky.
