Estes Express Lines says Clark Truck Parts owes $100K

WINFIELD – Estes Express Lines, Inc., is suing Clark Truck Parts, Inc., for allegedly failing to pay more than $100,000 for professional freight services.

Between Feb. 16, 2012 and March 15, 2012, Estes rendered professional freight services to the defendant, according to a complaint filed March 1 in Putnam Circuit Court.

Estes claims Clark has failed and refused to pay for the services.

The prices charged for the freight services were the fair, reasonable and market prices at the time they were rendered to the defendant and were the prices Clark agreed to pay, according to the suit.

Estes claims it has demanded payment of the principal payment and has mailed the defendant invoices, but Clark has not paid for the services.

Estes is seeking judgment in the amount of $100,669.64 with interest at a rate of 7 percent per annum. It is being represented by John R. Keating of Keating Law Firm.
