William McMullen vs. Westfield Insurance Company

* On Sept. 10, McMullen was involved in an automobile collision and he resolved the claim with Darlene S. Martin, who allegedly caused the collision, for her policy limits of $20,000 paid by Allstate Insurance Company. McMullen claims he had a policy of underinsured insurance coverage with Westfield and it wrongfully denied his claim. McMullen is seeking compensatory damages.

Janine Murphy vs. John L. Rowsey and Express Printing Inc.
PA- Scott D. Maddox; J- F. Jane Hustead
* On May 10, 2011, Murphy was a guest passenger in a vehicle being driven by Bobby Hutchinson when Rowsey, who was acting in the scope of his employment with Express, violently collided with the vehicle in which Murphy was a passenger and caused injuries, the suit says. Murphy is seeking compensatory damages.

* Garza was employed by Medical Neurology and on Oct. 5, she was at work when Naushaba Ahmad, "without any provocation or prior warning, did maliciously and violently beat, jerk and throw items at...Garza," the suit claims. Naushaba Ahmad also allegedly verbally attacked her. Garza is seeking compensatory and punitive damages.

Zachary Grove vs. City of Huntington, Ronald Lusk and John Does 1 through 4

* On Aug. 25, 2010, Grove was arrested for several misdemeanors and was taken to Huntington Police Department. He claims while being processed, police officers began yelling at him and he backed away. Grove claims without any provocation, one office grabbed him by the throat, capstunned him and slammed him against the wall, knocking him unconscious. Despite being unable to defend himself, other officers repeatedly punched him, he claims. Grove is seeking compensatory and punitive damages.
