CHARLESTON - Jackson Kelly PLLC is suing Pin Oak Properties LLC after it claim it owes more than $100,000 on a promissory note.
Deitrich S. Fansler was also named as a defendant in the suit.
On June 18, a promissory note was issued in the amount of $105,678.45 plus interest, according to a complaint filed April 26 in Kanawha Circuit Court.
Jackson Kelly claims the note was provided for the payment of the $105,678.45 principal plus accrued interest at the legal rate of interest from the dates of the respective invoices constituting the debt and was due on Dec. 31.
Fansler signed the note individually and on behalf of Pin Oak, according to the suit, and despite repeated demands, the note has not been satisfied.
Jackson Kelly is seeking damages in an amount no less than $105,678.45, plus interest from the date of each unpaid invoice constituting the debt at the legal rate of interest. It is being represented by Stephen R. Crislip of Jackson Kelly.
The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Tod J. Kaufman.
