DAR, LLC v. Triad Engineering; Karen L. Krabill P.E.; and Lydia Wood
PA- Charles C. Wise III; J- Yoder
* The plaintiff, of Morgantown, hired Triad to perform a full property survey of a 20-acre site on which it planned to build the Westminster Apartments. DAR paid Triad more than $200,000 for its work, the complaint says.

Steven and Denise Bach v. Allstate Property and Casualty Insurance Company and Joe Freme
PA- Joseph R. Ferretti; J- Wilkes
* The plaintiffs say Allstate's $3,645.26 offer to fix problems caused to their house by a plane wreck is insufficient. On Oct. 5, 2011, their house was struck by an experimental aircraft flown by Harry L. Weber, who died in the crash. The Bachs say the wreck resulted in a crack to the rear foundation and that a structural engineer is needed to oversee the repairs.
