Annitta Robinson vs. Alpha Technologies Inc. and Does 1-5

* On Nov. 30, Robinson's employment with Alpha was allegedly terminated while he was seeking time off of work for a medical condition. She claims she did not receive her final paycheck until Dec. 3, which violated the West Virginia Wage Payment and Collection Act. Robinson is seeking compensatory and punitive damages with pre-judgment interest.

Zachary Campbell vs. Rite Aid of West Virginia Inc.

* Campbell was employed by Rite Aid and on Oct. 12, he was advised by Sherri Mullins and Marty Parlick that he was being suspended indefinitely with pay pending an investigation of an alleged harassment complaint. Campbell claims he was only paid for 80 of the 100 hours he had been scheduled to work from Oct. 7 through Oct. 20. On Oct. 31, Campbell was advised his employment was being terminated effective Nov. 1. Campbell is seeking judgment against Rite Aid for unpaid wages, fringe benefits and liquidated damages in the amount of $60,720 plus interest.

Jessica Sheridan, individually and as mother and next friend of Peyton Sheridan; and Thomas Sheridan, her husband vs. Cecil Milton Ridley Jr. and Werner Enterprises Inc.

* On May 22, 2011, Jessica Sheridan was lawfully operating her vehicle on W.Va. 34 when Rudely, who was acting in the scope of his employment with Werner, struck her vehicle and caused injuries, the suit says. The plaintiffs are seeking compensatory damages with pre- and post-judgment interest.

Frances Marcum and Harry Marcum vs. Fourever Young LP

* On May 31, 2011, Fourever Young negligently caused and permitted water to overspill from the toilet in one of its public restroom, which Frances Marcum slipped in and fell, the suit says. The Marcums are seeking compensatory damages with pre- and post-judgment interest.
