PERSONNEL FILE: Defense Trial Counsel elects new officers

CHARLESTON – The Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia (DTCWV) recently elected new officers during the 31st Annual Meeting at the Marriott Grande Dunes Resort in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Those elected by the membership for the upcoming year were:

Laurie Barbe, President, Steptoe & Johnson PLLC (Morgantown)

Charles F. Printz, Jr., Vice President, Bowles Rice LLP (Martinsburg)

Jeffrey Holmstrand, Treasurer, Flaherty, Sensabaugh & Bonasso PLLC (Wheeling)

Jill Rice, Secretary, Dinsmore & Shohl, LLP (Morgantown)

The DTCWV also welcomes four new board members; Timothy Miller of Robinson & McElwee , PLLC (Charleston), William Galeota of Steptoe & Johnson PLLC (Morgantown), Laurie Miller of Jackson Kelly PLLC (Charleston) and Roberta Green of Shuman McCuskey & Slicer,PLLC (Charleston). Board members re-elected to full terms include Mark Hayes of Robinson & McElwee PLLC (Charleston) and Susan Snowden of Martin & Seibert (Martinsburg).

Cynthia Kline, who will complete her term in August, will be replaced by Leanna Colston (both of Jackson Kelly PLLC) as the Paralegal Representative on the Board of Governors.

The Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia is an association of West Virginia attorneys who defend individuals and corporations in civil litigation. It currently has a membership of over 500 attorneys, along with over 50 legal assistants dedicated to the defense of these clients.
