* On Jan. 17, 2012, Sizemore went on a group outing with other Woodlands residents to have lunch at Chili's in Barboursville. She claims when leaving the restaurant, the two Woodlands employees failed to assist her and her walker fell off the sidewalk, which caused her to be injured. Sizemore is seeking compensatory damages.

Larry Arbaugh and Connie Arbaugh vs. RBK Enterprises Inc. d/b/a Surface Foods Company

* On Jan. 8, Larry Arbaugh was loading a tractor-trailer owned by the defendant when his pallet jack caught on part of the floor that was loose and it caused him to be thrown out of the trailer and onto the concrete floor of the loading dock area, the suit says. The Arbaughs are seeking compensatory and punitive damages with pre- and post-judgment interest.

Sashe Burcham, Angela Burcham and Shawn Burcham vs. Liberty Mutual Insurance Company

* On Aug. 17, 2011, Shawn Burcham was lawfully operating a vehicle on U.S. 60 in Cabell County when a collision occurred with a vehicle being driven by Ashley Vankeuren. Vankeuren was an underinsured motorist, the suit says. Angela Burcham and Sashe Burcham suffered injuries in the collision. The Burchams claim Liberty has not abided by the insurance policy. The Burchams are seeking compensatory damages.

Michael G. Lowry vs. Gordon F. Reneau and GEICO General Insurance Company

* On Feb. 9, Lowry was operating his vehicle on Madison Avenue in Huntington when Reneau collided with his vehicle, the suit says. Lowry claims the investigating officer at the scene found that Reneau was drunk, had no insurance, had fraudulent license tags and had a 4-year-old unrestrained child as a passenger. Lowry claims GEICO refused to abide by its insurance policy. Lowry is seeking compensatory and punitive damages.
