HUNTINGTON - A woman is suing EAN Holdings LLC for the death of her sister.
EAN Holdings is doing business as Enterprise Rent-A-Car of KY LLC.
EAN Trust, which is doing business as Enterprise Rent-A-Car of KY LLC, was also named as defendants in the suit.
On Nov. 1, William Garbett rented a vehicle from the defendants and on Nov. 10, Garbett was operating a vehicle owned by the defendants in which Shirlene Hardesty was a passenger, according to a complaint filed Aug. 9 in Cabell Circuit Court.
Betty Craig claims Garbett caused a collision and caused Hardesty's death.
The defendants have failed to make any payment whatsoever to Craig and have refused to acknowledge the policy limits of the coverage under ELCO Administrative Services, according to the suit.
Craig is seeking compensatory damages. She is being represented by Jason A. Leasure of Vital & Vital LC.
The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge F. Jane Hustead.
