CHARLESTON – Dinsmore & Shohl is pleased to announce Mary Rennie “M.R.” Rowe has joined the firm’s Charleston office. Rowe will practice in the Corporate Department with the Estate and Trust Practice Group.
Prior to joining the firm, Rowe was an attorney at Goodwin & Goodwin, LLP where she represented clients in a variety of civil litigation throughout West Virginia. While earning her law degree, Rowe worked as a brief writer and intern for the Richmond, Va., Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office preparing dockets for court and drafting appellate briefs.
As a Summer Clerk for Judge Robert B. King of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, she drafted opinions and memorandums. Rowe was also a research assistant for the Institute for Actual Innocence at the University of Richmond School of Law.
Rowe is from Lewisburg and moved to Charleston following law school. Rowe serves on the Craik-Patton House Board of Directors and as Co-Chair of the Generation West Virginia Policy & Legislative Committee.
M. R. Rowe earned her J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law and her B.A. from Vanderbilt University.
