RIPLEY - A Jackson County man is suing over claims a vehicle he purchased had multiple defects.
Jackson County resident Richard Ross filed a lawsuit on April 3 in the Circuit Court of Jackson County, against Ford Motor Co. Inc., citing negligence.
Ross says he purchased a 2012 Ford F-150 on Aug. 22, 2012, and the truck was manufactured and warranted by the defendant.
After the purchase, Ross experienced numerous and repeated problems with the vehicle, including sudden and unexpected loss of power and a leaking transmission, according to the complaint. He claims multiple attempts by the defendant to repair the vehicle were unsuccessful.
Ross is seeking an undetermined amount of damages.
He is being represented by Charleston attorney Shawn R. Romano of Romano & Associates.
