MARTINSBURG - Martin & Seibert, L.C. was recently honored as a 2013 Go-To-All-Star Law Firm for the fifth consecutive year and was featured in the May 20 edition of Fortune Magazine.

According to American Lawyer Magazine, the firms named as Go-To Law Firms make up less than one-half of one percent of all of the law firms in the U.S. and abroad. Martin & Seibert, L.C., which just celebrated its 105th year anniversary, has developed a reputation as a leader in defending complex civil litigation and class action claims.

“We are proud to have been nominated for this honor by our largest corporate clients for the last five years. Being selected as a Go-To Law Firm for the World’s Leading Companies sets Martin & Seibert, L.C. and its lawyers apart from other firms. This distinction defines our firm as one of innovation and service. We work hard to earn the respect and confidence of our clients who feel comfortable calling us with their most immediate and serious legal needs. We like the complicated cases -- it is what we are best at doing,” said Walter M. Jones, III, the firm’s Managing Shareholder.

“Of all of the awards that we can receive, we feel that being selected for inclusion in a recognition shared with the largest and most prestigious law firms in the country – in the world – says the most about our attorneys and our firm,” said E. Kay Fuller, the firm’s Director of Litigation.

Martin & Seibert, L.C. was also named among the 2014 Best Law Firms ranking by U.S. News Media Group and Best Lawyers. The ranking features law firms that are given consistently impressive performance ratings by clients and peers, which includes 50,834 attorneys covering all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

Achieving a high ranking on the “Best Law Firms” list is a special distinction that honors a unique combination of achievement in practice and wide breadth of expertise. Martin & Seibert, L.C. and the other first-tier rankings will be featured in U.S. News & World Report’s Money issue in November.
