Deborah McCord claims her daughter suffered injuries to her face, head and other parts of her body Oct. 5, 2011, when the school bus the minor was riding on struck a telephone pole. The bus was operated by the defendant's employee, David D. Stiles, according to the brief.

The plaintiff is suing for an undetermined amount of relief, including damages for medical expenses.

McCord is being represented by Wheeling attorney Jeremy M. McGraw of Bordas & Bordas.
