Bellaire Harbor Service sued by employee

WHEELING - Bellaire Harbor Service is being sued over claims an employee was injured.

Joshua Morris filed a lawsuit Sept. 19 in U.S. District Court Northern District of West Virginia in Wheeling against Bellaire Harbor Service LLC, citing negligence and the General Admiralty and Maritime Law for unseaworthiness, maintenance, cure and wages.

Morris states in June, he was a crew member on the defendant's vessel when he stepped in a hole on a retaining wall and suffered injury.

The plaintiff is seeking an undisclosed amount in damages. He is being represented in the case by O'Bryan Baun Karamanian in Birmingham, Mich., and Katz Working Families' Law Firm LC in Charleston.
