Man says Norfolk Southern Railway had him perform dangerous duties

Mercer

PRINCETON - Carl J. Lester filed suit in Mercer County Circuit Court on Aug. 13, naming Norfolk Southern Railway Company as the defendant.

Lester claims Norfolk was negligent in training and assisting him in his work as a bridge foreman. Lester allegedly performed work which he claims Norfolk knew would be unsafe or dangerous.

According to Lester, he should have been provided mechanical- and man-powered assistance to perform his job, but he never received the requisite assistance. Lester allegedly sustained repeated trauma to his back and joints as well as a nervous condition over the long period of his employment.

Lester is seeking an undisclosed amount in damages. He is represented by William Flanigan.
