KINGWOOD - A man is suing over claims that unsafe conditions at a bar caused him to fall.

Bryant J. Fortney filed a lawsuit Sept. 11 in the Circuit Court of Preston County against Little 7 Club LLC, Wade E. Williams and Nellie M. Williams, citing negligence.

Fortney says on Aug. 17, 2012, he suffered serious injuries when he fell on a wooden pallet path while exiting the defendant's premises in Masontown. The complaint states one of the wooden pallets broke underneath the plaintiff, causing his leg to get stuck, resulting in a broken ankle.

The plaintiff is seeking an undisclosed amount in damages. He is being represented by Kingwood attorneys Mark E. Gaydos, Buddy Turner and Cody E. Nett of McNeer, Highland, McMunn & Varner LC.

Circuit Court of Preston County Case No. 13-C-206.
