Ohio e1378930140865

WHEELING - A man is suing a company and its employee after the employee allegedly caused an accident.

Joseph Subasic filed a lawsuit Oct. 2 in the Circuit Court of Ohio County against ASG Services LLC and Alexander James Hora, citing negligence, respondeat superior and negligent hiring.

According to the complaint on Aug. 28, Subasic was driving a 2011 Dodge Dakota east on Route 40 near ramp 5 for Interstate 70 West.

At the same time, Hora was driving a 2013 single unit Peterbuilt truck traveling west on Route 40 near ramp 5 for Interstate 70 West.

The complaint alleges that while traveling west on Route 40, Hora attempted to make a left turn across two lanes of traffic onto ramp 5 for I-70 West, crashing into Subasic's vehicle, which was proceeding through the intersection on a green light, causing injuries.

Subasic is seeking damages in excess of the jurisdictional limits. He is being represented in the case by Bruce M. Clark of Bailey & Wyant PLLC.
