WHEELING - Maggi Yanchak, individually and as guardian of next friend of Amber and Nolan Yanchak, and Brian Gayvont filed suit in the Ohio County Circuit Court on Oct. 22, naming Wheeling Park Commission and John Doe as defendants.
According to Yanchak, she was at a park maintained and operated by Wheeling Park Commission and/or defendant John Doe when she and her children were injured.
Yanchak claims that Wheeling Park Commission failed to adequately maintain the train and tracks which ran around the premises of Good Zoo at Oglebay Park in Wheeling.
Yanchak alleges she and her children sustained permanent and chronic injuries when their train crashed as a result of the defendants' negligence.
Yanchak is seeking damages in excess of jurisdictional limits. She is being represented by attorney Ronald W. Zavolta.
