PERSONNEL FILE: Four attorneys join Bowles Rice

CHARLESTON - Four attorneys have recently joined regional law firm Bowles Rice. The new associates are Michael A. Bush, Michael C. Cardi, Christopher Lee Edwards and Elizabeth A. Margolin.

Edwards and Margolin join the firm’s Charleston office, while Bush and Cardi will locate at the Bowles Rice Morgantown office.

Bush’s practice is centered on energy, oil and gas and real estate law. He is a 2013 graduate of the West Virginia University College of Law. As a law student, he served as a certified magistrate court mediator with the West Virginia State Bar. He received his bachelor of arts degree in history, summa cum laude, from West Virginia Wesleyan College, where he was a member of the Honors Program.

Cardi concentrates his practice in business litigation. He received his law degree from the Wake Forest University School of Law and earned a master’s degree in bioethics at the Wake Forest Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. He received a bachelor of arts degree in philosophy from West Virginia University.

Edwards focuses his practice on business litigation, including mass and toxic torts and deliberate intent cases. He received his law degree from Washington and Lee University, where he was chair of the Moot Court Executive Board and a member of the Phillip C. Jessup International Law Team. He received his bachelor of science degree in journalism magna cum laude from West Virginia University, where he was a member of the Honors College.

Margolin focuses her practice in the areas of corporate law and energy law. She received her law degree from West Virginia University College of Law, where she was a member of the Order of the Coif. She received her bachelor of science degree in journalism summa cum laude from West Virginia University, where she was a member of the Honors Program.
