Water on floor at Little General Stores bathroom caused injury, lawsuit says

Logan1 e1378338346688

LOGAN - A man is suing after he allegedly slipped and fell on wet bathroom floor.

James Brandon Mullins filed a lawsuit Oct. 29 in Logan County Circuit Court against Burger King Corporation, S.J.B. Foods Inc. and Little General Stores Inc., citing negligence.

Mullins says he was an employee of the Little General Store and that on Oct. 29, 2011, he slipped and fell on water that collected on the men's bathroom floor, causing injuries.

He alleges the defendants owed a duty to provide a safe working environment and owed a duty to him and the public from engaging in negligent acts or omissions which could cause injuries at property maintained by the defendants.

Mullins is seeking damages in excess of the jurisdictional limit. He is being represented in the case by attorney Mark Hobbs.

The lawsuit says Mullins has incurred approximately $10,000 in medical costs.
