LOGAN - A man is suing after a newly purchased motorcycle allegedly had mechanical problems.
Dennis May filed a lawsuit Oct. 28 in Logan County Circuit Court against Yamaha Motor Corporation USA and Logan Motorcycle Sales Inc.
According to the complaint, on Aug. 20, May purchased a 2013 Yamaha 700 Ruptor motorcycle for $8,824.29. May says that since the purchase, he has experienced mechanical problems and returned the motorcycle to Logan Motorcycles to have the problems repaired.
He alleges that the defendants have failed to repair the problems.
May is seeking a judgment for replacement of the vehicle, including all costs incurred. He is being represented in the case by attorney Susan J. Van Zant.
