PRINCETON - A woman is suing after she allegedly slipped and fell on a wooden ramp.

Brenda Valdovinos filed a lawsuit Oct. 21 in the Circuit Court of Mercer County against Cold Mountain Farm LLC, doing business as Budget Truck Rental, Philip Bailey and Heather Bailey, citing negligence.

According to the complaint, on Oct. 22, 2011, Valdovinos was on the defendant's property at 4134 Big Laurel Highway in Bluefield to rent a truck.

She says that while walking up a wooden ramp to enter the building, she slipped and fell, sustaining serious injuries. She alleges the defendant negligently failed to inspect the ramp for dangerous conditions.

Valdovinos is seeking damages in excess of the jurisdictional limit. She is being represented in the case by attorney Wayne L. Evans.
