Ohio e1378930140865

WHEELING - A couple are suing a store and the City of Wheeling after the wife allegedly slipped and fell on a sidewalk, causing injuries.

Julie Bratton and Kevin Bratton filed a lawsuit Nov. 5 in Ohio County Circuit Court against Let It Bee Boutique, Pavil Corp. of Myrtle Beach SC, also known as Pavil Corporation, and the City of Wheeling.

Julie Bratton says that on Nov. 9, 2011, she was walking on a sidewalk in front of Let It Bee's business entry and Pavil's property on Market St. in Wheeling when she slipped and fell on the disrepaired and inadequately maintained sidewalk and walkway, causing injuries.

The Brattons are seeking damages in excess of the jurisdictional limit. They are being represented in the case by attorney Ronald W. Zavolta.
