KEYSER - Stone Street Capital LLC filed a petition for the approval of a transfer of structured settlement payment rights from Gypsy Winkler in Mineral County Circuit Court on Nov. 14.

The petition, if approved, would transfer structured settlement payment rights, which Winkler, of Keyser, is now receiving, to Stone Street Capital, a Delaware company.

Winkler resolved a personal injury lawsuit in 2006 and as a result she entered into a structured settlement payout, the petition says.

The structured settlement was apparently in the form of an annuity. Winkler is now seeking to sell a portion of the payments from the annuity in return for a lump sum. Under this agreement, Winkler would transfer her rights to receive $30,000 on Dec. 24, 2017, and $40,000 on Dec. 24, 2022, from the annuity.

Winker would transfer her rights to the aforementioned payments in return for a lump sum of $28,731.14.

Stone Street Capital is being represented by attorney Robert L. Bandy.
