Woman trades in settlement payments for lump sum to fix car

Bandy

UNION - Stone Street Capital filed a petition for approval of a transfer of structured settlement payment rights on Nov. 8.

Under the petition, Megan Ward, of Ballard, would transfer payments she is receiving from an annuity to Stone Street Capital.

Ward apparently wants money to fix her car so she has chosen to sell a portion of her payments under the annuity to Stone Street Capital in return for a lump sum. Ward is transferring 63 monthly payments of $400 and one lump sum of $5,000 due in December 2024 in return for $18,212.

All totaled, Ward is transferring $30,200 for the payment.

Stone Street Capital is being represented by attorney Robert L. Bandy.
