CHARLESTON - A woman is suing Medford Trucking LLC after she claims she and her infant child were injured because of one of its employees.

Albert Lee Aldridge, also known as Albert Lee Albridge, was also named as a defendant in the suit.

On Dec. 17, 2011, Julie Ann Coleman was a right front passenger and Vivian Rose Coleman was a center rear passenger in a white 1999 Chevrolet Lumina operated by Julie Coleman's husband, according to a complaint filed Nov. 13 in Kanawha Circuit Court.

Julie Coleman claims Aldridge was operating a red 2009 International tractor trailer on a private road on U.S. 60 in Kanawha County and has Julie Coleman's husband approached the intersection, Aldridge negligently and carelessly drove the tractor trailer from the private road directly into the path of the vehicle Julie Coleman and Vivian Coleman were passengers in.

As a direct and proximate result of the defendants' negligent, careless and/or reckless conduct, Julie Coleman suffered lost wages; medical expenses; pain and suffering; physical limitations; diminished capacity to enjoy life; annoyance and inconvenience; and other consequences and damages, according to the suit.

Julie Coleman claims Vivian Coleman suffered medical expenses; pain and suffering; physical limitations; diminished capacity to enjoy life; annoyance and inconvenience; and other consequences and damages.

Aldridge's wrongful conduct constitutes prima facie evidence of negligence and is actionable, according to the suit.
