PERSONNEL FILE: Hammond receives AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell

CHARLESTON – Bailey & Wyant is pleased to announce that Jason S. Hammond has received an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, one of the oldest and most esteemed attorney lists in the United States.

Surveys are sent to other attorneys and judges who have worked with the lawyer being rating. The reviewers are asked to rate colleagues on their ethical standards and legal ability in the specific practice area.

Hammond joins Bailey & Wyant members Brian D. Morrison, David E. Schumacher and Of Counsel H.F. Salsbery who also possess an AV Preeminent rating.

As a member of Bailey & Wyant, Hammond concentrates his practice on Civil Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Construction Litigation, Insurance Law and Real Estate matters.

Hammond is lead counsel for multiple coal companies and a heavy highway construction company in over 300 civil actions asserting flooding damages as a result of surface coal mining operations and highway construction.
